Default piston damage

Do you think there is block damage? Or would replacing the piston do?

i don't know how deep the scratches are but honing the cylinder down may do the trick. how's the crank because the rod looks pretty bad. what did you do lol

I believe there may be crankrod damage and 1 piston is damaged. How much do you guys think it would cost in labor to replace the crankrod and piston versus replacing the whole block?

And I think the damaged was due to lack of oil. I was driving for about a week with the light going off saying I need a oil change. Never again

Yeah man thats not lookin too good, even if the block is OK, you're gonna need to completely tear down the motor to find out for sure. That alone (unless you're doing it yourself) would cost more than just buying a used motor.

i'd go with a new block. see if you can get one from a salvage yard. i know the place by me has weekend engine specials for $99. or if you want to get a little playful, use the old engine for a project build. i know parts are expensive but i'm sure you can find the money somehow lol. pm Mike-2ptzero for a price on what you'd want
