Whoa - my ebay turbo has a waste gate on it, I guess whatever flange I make or buy it will need room for that wastegate actuator to move or open... kind of like an expansion area... does anyone know what these k04 were intended for? What is the stock manifold for this thing???

Verdict is still out - looks like I'll be running it until explodes in a techni-color conflagration of Chinese spectacle, maybe it will last all the way to the Olympics, it comes with a 90 day warranty...

Ugh - this is the most whack way to spend 300...

You will not find a flange for that turbo. Also, its not going to be fun when the compressor wheel makes contact with the housing and then breaks off peices of the wheel and they go into the motor... and YES, i have seen it happen

This silly flange - I'm not going to let it get to me... sorry for the second post - just needed further info...

What about bolting the front half of the 04 with the back of the 03...

I'm going to attempt pictures of this doomed install - may take you up on that turbo trade...

ok ok.. so i look at he bottom of the page and i see the related threads and youre a moron! there are two (now three incuding this one) about ur damn ebay whored ass turbo. i dont know alot about turbos. but a ebay one? everyone told you not to waste 300-400 Bucks. but you only live once. please stop making threads. it just clutters sh1t up..also good luck! take lots of pics when it blows up so we can all see (actually were going to prollypoint and laugh)..sorry if im being harsh or rude but its the truth.

must locate k04 specific chip....
