PLEASE HELP ME! 99.5 Audi A4 rough idle flashing check engine light
#12
the ICM is the flat piece on top of the air box with an electrical plug on each side. I think the only way to check it is to swap it with a known good one.
However, usually when that goes bad, you have multiple random misfires, not just one cylinder.
How old are your spark plugs, that could be an issue too. Get some new ones, they're cheap, and gap t0 .032 if you're stock, .028 if you're chipped.

I put new ngk iradium plugs in about a month ago my friend that's works at pepboys said to not gap iradium plugs should I regap em anyway? I'm about to go get my codes read now. could the throttle position sensor cause a misfire? And my colant light came back on yesterday as well.

Had the codes read and is misfiring in cylinder 2 again maybe it's the wires or boot on the plug?? I'm leaking colant I'm worried it might be leaking into the cylinder causing the misfire but I'm a noob and don't kno I've parked the car and won't drive it till I figure it out. Thanks for all you're help guys
