that depends on if the chip is soldered on or not. but i would verify the sensors are operating first. there is a much better chance that a sensor died vs the ECU. ECU failures arent that common. if you know of anyone with a similar car, ask if they can swap ECU's with you for a minute, that will tell you strait off if the ECU is the problem or not. my money would be on a sensor though.
