Poll: How long have you driven with a known bad control arm?
Going on my second month now. Front upper left control arm ball joint is pretty much done. Everything else seems to be ok and I havent encountered the clunking noise yet. Parts are on their way. I have to repair this by Aug 15 since I will be doing a 3hr drive. Worth mentioning I'll be working 6days a week this whole month :'(
I saw a 95ish Accord right in front of me. Right front wheel turned right, the others were all straight ahead. Lots of blue smoke from that RF tire, and she did a good job of fighting the pull on the steering wheel. But she sure was scared.
That's what's at stake....

lol at the poll results
I actually drove on a broken lower control arm once. I was doing a drive test trying to figure out this sound that I was hearing (it was loose caliper), but at the same time when I was braking, all of a sudden my steering wheel acted up and car started to wobble. Good thing I was driving really close to my house and so I drove it slowly back home. Lifted it up and found the lower rear control arm broke right off. Im guessing cuz the shop I took it at must have over torqued it.
Last time I'm taking my car to a shop.
