well there is a shop down here where i live and they live by the d2 on their drift g35, they are very suer friendly from what he said, they come with the key so u can make adjustments yourself (if u know how) and they also come with pilow top mounts too... which i have heard are very nice lol... but if ur just wanting something to throw on their then go for the vmaxx... i know i was planning on it till i found these for the b5 fwd.. so im happy

i'd go with the FK. another route you can take is get the struts from any audi/vw B5 chassis with a FWD drive train. then get a set of lowering springs. it'll be much cheaper but the ride will be different if you get race springs and it might not be low enough for you if you get sport springs. however you will save about 250

yea so many. i was thinking today that i could go with koni yellows (600 buks all four) and some lowering springs for like 100 to 200 buks. but that would still end up being 700-800 buks. and my project, i want it to be budget minded. i am not racing my car or taking it to the track. i just want a daily driver with a little more power than stock.

with the things considered, i am leaning towards vmaxx because it is cheap. i know it wont be the best of quality coming in and i dont know how long they will last ( 2 year warranty, but what is covered? who knows) $610 shipped for a brand new set of coilvers that should last a couple years will be fine with me.

I am hoping it is wayyy ybetter than my cutt springs on blown sport shocks. Because if it isnt ill be one REALLy unhappy driver.

well just curious... what IF u get these and realize u like the way your car handles now, then u start exploring more power upgrades and start having more fun and then u realize the CO u bought wont cut it anymore... just food for thought, if u have the money, id go with quality over price... but thats just me.. im **** about suspension ****.. too much depends on everything if ur suspension is crap lol

You cant use a adjuster plate on the A4, so I hope you dont have your heart set on the kit having it when you order it.

The adjuster plate would do nothing on our car anyway and this is because moving the shock does not effect camber like it does on a JDM car.

yea i understand what your saying. i used to be like that back in the day with my hondas. i was a honda boy for the longest. spending mega bucks on top of the line **** all the time. and it was fun and great knowing i got the best of the best.

but now im a bit older and less money, lol. i can draw the line and hopefully know when not to cross it.

dont get me wrong, i am not all about cheap stuff on my car. i usually stay away from pep boys, kragens, etc (except for basic stuff oil, filters, etc.) im not flaming on those companies btw, they probably carry excellent products and have excellent warranties, its just my personal preferences programmed into me when i started to tune my hondas at age 16. im 26 now.

Have you even looked at your car?

First off there is no opening and to even put it there you would have to cut the shock tower.

Who knows why they offer it or if their product description is just universal for all of their kits. But exactly how would you expect moving the shock around is going to change the camber when the spindle arm is connected to the upper control arms which doesn't connect to the shock?

Even the picture on the product page isn't for an Audi, an A4 front shock would have a U at the bottom to bolt to the control arm.
