possible bad INNER cv joint?

okay here is what I got off a website of a cv joint supplier. "A bad outer Audi axle shaft CV joint will make a clicking noise when accelerating and turning from a stop sign.
This is a strong indicator that the outer Audi CV joint is worn. As a general rule the inner Audi CV joint seldom,
if ever, makes this clicking noise. The symptoms of a bad inner Audi CV joint on is when vibration,
shuddering or torquing is felt through the cars steering wheel and is noticed upon straight line accelerating
(steering will pull to the left or right). " I will get underneath and check though.

shudders noise on left front wheel
hi.
i drive a VW MK1 FOX 1992 automatic. i noticed that i have a shuddering noise on left front wheel and it does it when hit about 60 mph and goes quite after 90/95 mph. Some guys told me that it could be my automatic gearbox because my car does not change gears like it suppose to. i have to drive it about 3000 RPM and then only it will change the gears but it has to be at 3000 RPM because the previous own never changed the clutches or clutch on the gearbox. i also heard that it could be my inner CV. COULD SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME...
