Just wondering what everyone is running.. Anyone every try and max out their A4's? I bought a gps and while i was looking through it. It had a recording for your top speed.. so i tried it out and after a while (long accelerating) i managed to finally click up 136mph. Everything is stock except K*N filter and gutted out cat. it took dam near 5 min to reach that too..

 

at 136mph, you get pulled over- do not pass go do not collect $200. you get your car impounded on the spot, you spend at least the night in jail possibly longer, your license suspended, not to mention several 1000 in fines. there are a lot of those police dodge chargers on 91 rated for chase speeds up to 162mph.

I got mine up to 145mph way back when I had just a T28 turbo. Now I hit around 140 just in 4th gear and thats while at the drag races where I trap 135+ in under 11 seconds. I haven't put it in 5th gear in years.

Try Ontario!

New law issued last year, if you're caught doing 50 km/h (31 MPH) over the speed limit, it's considered "street racing".

- Car impounded for 7 days
- License suspension for 7 days
- $2000 (minimum) fine

And believe me, they're enforcing it!
