got a foot of snow at the house last night.... should of taken a pic of the audi but didnt think about it... just got back from work in texas last night. the car was almost invisible... looked sweet... i sorta wanted to drive around without brushing anything except windshield off, but then i remembered what happened last time i was lazy and hungover and did that.... rubbed a telephone pole 2nd day i had the car and creased back right door.... i really disappointed myself on that one

I hate my current winter mode setup. Baby Jesus is crying because the BBS's are still on.

Hey guys,

Not to sound noob, but whats the purpose of swapin the wheels when the snow comes? I know theres the deal with handle'in but, what other reason is there?

And MAY I SAY WOOOOOHHHH you got freakin close to that car in the parking lot man! jeeezzzeee. i cant wait until i can do that thow! im on LongIsland and we got like 4inches over here, it was good enough for a quick spin wippin around that AWD but it was blizzard like conditions and i was already slightly 'impaired'

Sometimes because people dont want to have tires swapped every season and sometimes because the salt eats away at their $2k rims.

Salt eating away at rims? Dam. Is there any specific finish that is more prone to this kind of wear?

Or like me you could curb one of your BBS's due to slick conditions and things out of your control. I would rather have bashed my wheel than another car, however I wish it could have been a stock of junk set of wheels..
