Problems with thermometer

Default Problems with thermometer

whenever i wash my car or there was a heavy rain, my thermometer for outside temperature starts showing random stuff...it starts showing like -50F or somewhere around that which is false temperature...i think water comes in from somewhere and it gets wet so it shows bs...anyone can tell me what could it be and where is thermometer located??

Thermometer should be located near the bottom of the front bumper in front of the radiator.. could be a loose connection or just a bad sensor. Check some scrap yards for a replacement if you can. I replaced the one on my old Saab, guy at the counter probably thought it was a wiring connector or something and I copped it for $4.00 haha
