I'm looking for the best Headlights to buy for a 01 and Im not really about to; just go and buy some off of Ebay. Does one have any recommendation for the best HID kit and what color looks the best.

I'm usually skeptical of eBay but Depot/Helix e-code headlights are the way to go. As for color, the factory xenons are 4300k. 4500k-ish is supposedly the best as far as light output goes. I run 6000k and am very happy with them. I wouldn't go any higher than 8000k, even thats a but too purple for me and you start losing light output up that high.

 

Ok thanks yeah I saw a post on here with a guy whose headlights were melting and just didnt want to make the same mistake.

If you purchase quality headlamps like the Depos and then use a 35w HID kit you won't have to worry about anything melting.

6000k was a bit too blue for my tastes, so I changed to 5000k and like it much better. YMMV, of course.
