Default Purchasing a 2001 Audi A4 1.8t Quattro

Hi

I am new to this forum here, and I am looking to buy a 2001 Audi A4 1.8 Quattro. It has 90,600 miles on it, and the seller is asking for $7,250 for it.

I test drove the car and thought it was in a very good condition, but I was not sure how to evaluate the car based on it history of maintenance as well. So I wanted to check up with the folk here at this forum, if this car would be a good buy or not. I am listing the carfax record below.

Thanks in advance for your help.

That is really great to hear! Well, I took your advice and bought the car. The car came with its 90K maintenance already done, and the mechanic who inspected it found everything in the car to be in good standing! That just made my decision far more easier! Thanks a lot for your response! Now, I cant wait to take the car for a good long drive!

Looks pretty good. When glancing at the carfax why did they have to replace the rear brake pads at 37,000 and then again 1.5 years later even before 77,000 miles? Strange that the front pads didn't get replaced as they do most of the braking. My last set of rear brakes lasted me almost 70k. Make sure to double check that the timing belt was done. Welcome aboard
