i currently have bosch ballasts in the engine bay all wired up... they look simliar but not exact to these :

mainly im trying to figure out how to correctly wire these together, i have a male and female connector on each ballast , as well as two prongs each side....and then i have the stock harness to connect in....

if anyone made any sense out of this post please provide some feedback, as im not 100% sure what needs to connect where.

I scrapped the wiring that came with my one-piece lights and installed the wiring from the old light in its place. Obviously, it's not the right shape, but you can get clever with ways to seal the gap if you're worried about water getting in. You'll plug in the HIDs the same way as before.

cut off the connectors for the originals and on splice the connectors for the 1 piece headlights to the wiring harness, too easy. Simply run the hid wires as before and your good.

They go to the high, low and city light. That forth is for the fogs which are external rather than in the headlight, you won't need it anyways. Take off the dust boot and follow the ground and hot wire for the low beam, avoid the high, hook them up, install the bulb and double check the connector. You don't wanna turn on the headlight and have the high beams on where the low should be, ask me how I know...take your time and you'll get. You'll probably need to cut/drill a hole through the dust boot to run the wires back to ballast.

ya know i can probably change your clutch and flywheel in a few hours......but this wiring crap drives me crazy

i am so terrible at wiring

how about next weekend when i am up in jersey i buy you a case of beer and we knock this all out

but anyways: pretty much i have to take the stock harness wires ground and low beams and connect them to the two prongs on the ballasts, then the ballasts to the hid bulbs

then, connect the stock harness high beam wire and ground wire to the high beam bulb....

leave the fog wire and city wire hanging and tape them up...

You don't need to cut anything...it's pretty clear what needs to happen when you have it all in front of you...but this DIY may help clarify the the steps.
