Quattro Swap?

Default Quattro Swap?

So I have a 99.5 A4 1.8T. and It's FWD (epic fail i know) so any opinions on getting quattro and paying aLOT for it?

ehh...be easier and cheaper to sell your car and buy an actual quattro a4

Not possible to swap quattro drivetrain and suspension components to a FWD chasis.

It probably is but it would require more fabbing and custom work than would really make it worth it. Just sell it and buy a quattro.

cant be done, the rear frame is completly different not to mentiont he rear suspension is different from the quattro layout.

What's up with you guys and saying everything can't be done? Anything can be done, the question is: does the amount of work needed outweigh the cost of just buying one that already has what you want?

I know for a fact that HPA has done a bunch of Quattro swaps/add-ons to VWs before, especially GTIs and I think a Jetta. Personally, I don't know why you wouldn't just buy an Audi, but to each his/her own. It takes a HUGE amount of work; basically a full frame off rebuild of the entire car. The whole undercarriage has to be reworked in order to make the Quattro parts fit.
