I got mine in the mail the other day and am getting it painted next week. My question though is about the installation of it. It came with some sort of a foam tape on the bottom of it. Is that you all attached yours to the trunk? To me it seems like that may not be strong enough and that it might have it sit "off" the trunck a bit..... what did you all do?

it's m3 tape, it'll be strong enough.

 

 

i got mine off ebay, and it has been there since about a week after i bought it, going on 2 yrs now

 

i had mine on my first audi, then on my BMW then moved it to my current audi, still using the original tape, work at a carwash so it goes through touch-less hell just about every week, and so far its still held on. i think its strong enough.

 

google it. There is a full write up on another forum, somewhere, escapes mind...
