Default quick favor to ask my fellow drive by cable a4 owners... (pre-facelift?)

hey, could you go out to your car, and see if you can lift the pedal toward you at all?

what im asking is, from resting position of the gas pedal, is there ANY play in the pedal if you are sitting in the drivers seat and reach down and try pulling the pedal straight toward you? (opposing the normal direction you push it with your foot)

let me know if you even get any amount please, thanks

seems like my pedal is on a hinge or something, the pedal surface moves around a lot, both towards me and away from me, but the actual arm of the pedal doesn't go anywhere

I know my gas pedal goes down very nicely, and when coupled with the upward movement of the clutch, can achieve some very thrilling results.

Other than that, I'm with CCA4 on this one...
