I just installed a ko4 turbo in my 99 b5 and when I floor the pedal the car feels like it wants to stall and just studder I have a Manuel boost controller on it and kept trying to adjust it and it still does the studdering at high Roma with the gas floored, wondering if there's any tips or tricks to fix this problem thanks

it also may require a 4.0 bar. FPR

This. Putting a bigger turbo and MBC on your otherwise stock car is a really great way to lean out at higher revs and throw a rod through the block. How much boost are you running?

12 psi

My buddy said i need a tune, so im going to go with the APR stage 1 ecm and go from there hopefully it fixes this problem. (need the chip anyway)

Might help, but you should really get a tune written for a K04 like GIAC's PC16 file. You'll get more out of the turbo and the ECU will actually know what's going on.

agreed. do you need injectors for GIAC's K04 tune? i know with APRs K04 tune you need injectors.

Pretty sure you should get a 4.0 bar fpr as well. I know the stage 2 tune in my maestro called for it.

Not 100% on the injectors, but I believe it's a 4 or 5bar FPR.
