I need to replace my radiator expansion tank, I have the replacement tank. I am new to all this DIY stuff so I have a few basic questions. Do I need to flush all the coolant first before removing the tank? If not, is coolant going to leak everywhere when I disconnect the hoses? Is there anything else I should know before attempting this replacement? It seems pretty basic and straight forward just don't want any surprises, like I said I am new to this. 12v 2.8 if it matters...

 

all you need to do is swap them. the coolent that is in the tank will leak out if any in it. little should come out of the hoses.
