So i have a totally stock 2000 1.8tqa A4 and i dont have a 6 cd changer untill today... My dad works at a dealer and took a 1999 a6 in trade and it did have a 6 disc changer, and my dad said if i could get it out i could have it. So affter succesfully uninstalling the box from the a6 i took over to my trunk and noticed that my plug for the auxillary port was a little bent out of shape. So naturally i got some needle nose pliars and bent back in to shape. There was a small spark but i didnt think anyhing of it(Dumb *** Me!!!!!!). THen plugged in the changer and my radio would not turn on with and with out the key and with the car started. Is my radio totally shot or is there something that i can do? If the radio is shot, any suggestions for a good somewhat inexpensive radio would be great. Thank you.

 

check the fuses

 

I just checked the fuses and the fuse for the radio looked fine but to be sure i plugged a new one in and still nothing happened. I am really worried that i have to buy a new radio
