Default Rear deck Cover fabric

Well after a few months of thinking whether or not id like to cover my rear deck in a new stylish fabric I decided too! I really liked Aledelic's ( Props for the paisley, Which is partly one that i really like but might not do it, Gotta respect other users ideas) So lets here some opinions. Exterior of car is black and interior is black with the silver trim. So give me some ideas!

Jet Black crushed velvet would look really nice now that I look at it.

That crushed velvet is sweeeeeeet. That's my vote. I like the green but that might be too much of a contrast with a black B5.

I changed my mind; the olive green is fantastic. That's what I'd go with, just to be different.

Crushed velvet = Big pimpin. You're going to have to get curtains, with little gold tassles.

i wish i could say that i wanted to go with a stylish fabric... which i somewhat do.. but instead i picked up a couple yards of vinyl that looks exactly like the leatherette in my car (i think i got the same interior/exterior setup as you kito) and i think it will look pretty sweet covering it in the same faux leather thats in the rest of the interior.. ive almost had my deck out twice but i didnt have my tools with me to get the seatbelts undone, but i have the 3m vinyl spray, and my girlfriends mom has a pretty good background in covering furniture and what not so ill get some help from her.. but only thing i was wondering is should i def scrape off the old gray cloth-like covering that is on the deck currently?? or go right over it.. prolly makes more sense to scrape it all off and get a nice solid clean base to work over..
