Interesting, but it sits up high, not sport-like. no red shocks on there. This car was a lease, and I bought if from the guy who bought it from the dealership that leased it. I've got all his records and I can't imagine a lease holder changing the steering wheel. so, the mystery continues.

Sport wheel was a separate option, at least after '99.5. Around here I would say at least 85% of B5's have the sport wheel but less than half actually have the full sport package.

Yeah, this article sort of implies that the sport steering wheel was a $500 option. But, it is interesting reading. These cars were highly regarded back in the day (still are by we enthusiasts).
