what price range am i looking at to rebuild the engine in my 98 a4 1.8t quatro..........also what price range to put a new tranny in i have the new tranny im just loking for a price range to take out old one and put new one in the cars a manual

 

why does it need a rebuild? or what is broken that needs to be fixed?

its going to take a shop about 7 hours to swap the trans. so 7x whatever the shop charges per hour is a good estimate.
