I have a 1998 A4 Quattro 2.8L with almost 270K miles on it and keep it working.

I am looking for re-manufactured rear calipers with hardware and pads; new rotors and pads for all wheels. And the rear brake cable.

For the calipers, any recos for which brand to use: A1 Cardone, Centric or Beck Arnley? Or which online resellers? Considering that most of the ones that sell calipers get terrible reviews or ratings? except for BlauParts that is then more expensive .

For the rotors and pads. Similarly any recos for brands or resellers? There seems to be a lot of generic sets on EBay with good ratings.

 

I've been pleased with Brembo rotors and Pagid pads, front and rear. Always quiet, low dust, and nice pedal feel, but my driving is not super high-performance, so if you are on the brakes really hard a lot, perhaps something different.

 

I am about getting safe and fast from point A to B without getting a ticket. So probably average aggressive driving. Where do you buy them?
