Removing Rear Speakers question

I have tried several times to get to the rear speakers in the rear deck of my 2000 Audi A4 and I just can't get those child seat anchors off. Does anyone have any helpful hints/tricks?

They just suck.... I'm not 100% sure but I think you can rotate the plastic piece that goes flush with the deck, it can pop out when in the right spot. But all things aside its a bitch lol.

I did this a couple years ago and remember them being a pain. Also when you get past that be careful to not break the speaker cover clips. I broke both sides and had to replace them both.
