Reset OBDII Codes, Now Stalling Probelm!?!?
Hey got a 98 A4
Tried to fix the Air bag light by zip tying the under seat connectors (yeah it didnt' work)
Then used an OBDII Code Checker to reset the diagnostic codes (even though none were found, dumb I know), and ever since whenever I get to a stop the car boggs down below idle and almost dies and then it saves itself and idles
No difference in engine power, no check engine light, but the engine is definitely acting up. The rpm's go so low at points when slowing, or coming to a stop, that the car almost rolls free to catch up, hard to explain. For whatever reason, it's really worse in reverse.
Thanks please help me out I'm thinking about trading it in, unless I can fix it

Well you have to reset the airbag light after you zip tie them (u probably did that just checking, and id spary contact cleaner on there first before you zip tied them.) If you just reset codes it shouldnt have affected anything, id get some throttle body cleaner and clean the TB. Does it only do this with the A/C on casue mine will bounce sometiems with the A/C on.
