Hi all
I have just bought a 1997 Audi A4 2.8 quattro. its in great condition and the leathers are in great condition etc, however the reverse lights do not work.

I want to check the reverse light but all the switches i look at are for manual transmission and I cannot find anything for autos. has anyone changed a switch on an auto? is it next to the CV boot on the passenger side?

Is it the same on a 1.8 as 2.8? Surely, because it is the same transmission right? I can never remember which trans go with which versions of our cars
