I got a good deal on a 98 A4 1.8tq 5spd. This is my first Audi and I like it alot! The car has high miles (156k) but runs real smooth and no CELS. After finding a few leaking vacuum lines and replacing the diverter valve I hooked up a temporary boost guage to check out the turbo. I can consistantly get 5 to 7 pounds boost. Is this right? The car is bone stock. Thanks.

 

Umm as far as i know yes it is about right. Stock once are about between 6 - 10 as i correctly recall...

 

yeah, thats right. stock is between 5-7.

chipped is peaks at 15ish
