Default s4 Power seats in a4 non-power seats?? will that work??

I own a 98 a4 and i have a pair of 01 s4 seats. the s4 seats are power seats and my car does not have power seats. is there a way that i can take the frame off the seats and swap the non-power frame to the s4 seats so i can have s4 seats in my a4? anyone tried this before?

the car should have the physical mount points in there for power seats, and power connectors under the floor. you may have to go digging to find the power. i think non-power seats screw into the car at 4 points where the power seats mount to three points. it will not be an easy direct bolt on, but with a little modification to the rails to fit S4 seats, you can get it to work.

I was thinking of going the same route. I have non-power heated seats currently.

If i can get a set of power seats from an 01 s4, the electrical connectors are already there to hook up the power to new seats?

actually, i was looking at installing the seats but now i think im just going to sell the s4 seats. my a4 seats are in decent shape and i dont need power. a4 seats are 3 point bolt in and the s4 seats are the usual 4 point bolt in on each corner. If anyone is interested, hit me up. Im in the dayton and columbus, OH area. I will also post them for sale in the classifieds.

I just installed power seats in my non-powered A4. I had heated seats. The plug ins are all there. Do I have to run power to the plug ins?

it depends on if you have power lumbar. if you do, the plugs are all there. you could just try plugging it in and see if it works
