what happens if you hit the preset position button ... if it moves back its obviously not a motor problem and its a wiring issue or a fuse... also make sure the off button next to the 1 2 3 preset buttons isnt off

when i hit the preset buttons i noticed this after i posted that message that it only moves the mirrors so im guessing its a motor? i looked in the fuse box for a fuse for the seats but there is notone.

hmm ... well it would be wierd if the seats were not run through the fuse box because everything is run through the fuse box im pretty sure... the book probably just doesnt say "power seats" ... although if they arent run through the fuse box i guess take the seat out check tehe connection then test and if that doesnt work or der a motor ... that reallly sucks

does the passenger motor still work?

ok well its not a fuse in the fuse box might there be an inline fuse for it or probably not? sorry it took soo long my car has been in the body shop from that jackass that hit me in the parking lot and i just got around to it. so since its probably the motor does anyone have any idea where i can get a motor from?

ebay or google for a motor... or if you have the money the dealer is always an expensive but safe alternative ... well since its not in the fuse box then then u take the seat out get a voltage meter and press the switch and see if there is any current running through the line ... if there is current check the connection before replacing the motor if its not the connection then replace the motor and hopefully thats the problem ... if there is no current then u have a bigger problem ... u have to find either a pinch in the wire or maybe there is an inline fuse ... im not sure either

good luck
