Same thing happened to me, between the turbo and the manifold. For me, I assume it's due to the gasket just being old. It wasn't that bad, so I didn't stress it too much.

The starting/ running issue is more than likely the seafoam treatment it should go away as soon as everything settles out in the vaccum system

 

How did you "pour" the seafoam into the vac lines? I hope you mean you used a vac line to suck it up into the intake mani...

Anyway, to get to the MAF, you have to disconnect all the cables, (and yes, you have to pull out the rubber thing on the top of the air to get to one of the connections) then pull off the top of the air box off, and the MAF is inside. It might just need to be cleaned, MAF cleaner isn't a bad idea. Just don't touch the sensor inside...

Yes, but I don't know the specifics. In theory, it's the same thing, at idle, the N/A and the turbo car both create a vacuum. Just find a vacuum line on the intake mani, and start suckin'

 

There is a DIY 'round these parts somewhere that has the procedure for the 2.8, I might still have the link saved since its the one I used when I seafoamed my 2.8; there is a good sized vac line that comes out of the brake booster that will feed all 6 cylinders at once, its pretty hard to miss. If I can't find that link, I'll just take a picture of mine and draw an arrow to the vac line in question. It really is worth the time to do it. Mine was so bad it fouled the hell out of my spark plugs though, so be ready for that and have a new set of plugs on hand to throw in after the seafoam is cleared out.
