Default Sexiest years for Avant?! (semi b5 question!)

So on friday my wifes car was hit and I can pretty much guarantee it's going to be totaled! I want an Avant pretty bad! So I made a deal I'll sell her the sedan for what ever the insurance gives her for her car roughly 2k. Now I want to know what you guys think is the sexiest years for an Avant? Also motor wise and upgrades?! I plan on making a sleeper if I get it. Sport sus+ maybe wheels but only if they are a performance upgrade not an looks one. And no matter what satin black I found a couple on CL and one that caught my eye was a 1999A4 1.8t with 200k miles for 2,200 PICS So I was wondering what years+motors should I look for? And lets be reasonable. I would love an RS4 Avant but realistically I can't! It doesn't have to be an A4 either it can be an A6!

Also to back up you 2 cents post with pics! But only if you are 100% on the year of the car in the pic!!!

If you're looking for performance, I'd go with A6 Avant with the 2.7T ad turn it stage 3.

Its also got potential to look good.

I'm having a hard time finding A6 (C5) avants with the 2.7t The only thing I can seem to find with the 2.7t is the Sedan or Allroad...

Allroads are definitely nice too. Although the air ride system tend to blow.

Allroads are few and far between here in North Jersey....my wife and I wanted one for a while now.

I have a B6 avant as my wallpaper.......my vote, B6 avant
