My car was hit on the front fender and right front door....right at the crease. It's not that bad and my deductible would be as much as to fix the dent, unfortunately who ever hit my car didn't leave a note and they stuck me with the bill. I'm getting it fixed for $500. The only problem is the front part of the trim in the middle of the door broke off and needs to be replaced. Does anyone know how I could order this? Dealer wants about $85 for that piece and $35 for the 5 inch piece on the fender. I'm trying to find out what this could cost somewhere else. Does anyone know what this part is called?

On the bright side I picked up some 17s original Audi rims and a set of Kumhos I'm going to install tomorrow that I picked up for $300 on craigslist.

Things aren't all that bad.

 

If your deductable is $500 I would just pay that and let the shop deal with finding the trim bits you need replaced. Plus theres always something lurking that the guy doing the estimate simply couldnt see or didnt account for.
