hey guys i have a 97 1.8t Q and my stock springs and shocks are shot i wanted to get recommendations on what i should get shock & springs or Coil overs. thanx in advance

Depends on what you need and how much you are willing to spend.
I would probably say coilover since they are adjustable and you can adjust the damper for better ride quality.

For around $1000, you could probably get Konis. They are damping adjustable in which you can adjust the ride quality.
There is also a company called V-Maxx. Never had personal experience but have heard many great things about it.

 

I have vmaxx. If you're willing to spend that much just for suspension I'd get something better. Do you want the new suspension mainly for looks or performance?

if you are looking for performance, stasis street sports are pretty awesome

 

STaSiS = Koni. Just different perch and "tuned to STaSiS standards".
