Should a 16yr old be driving a B5 S4 with 100k miles?

EDIT: whos the lucky mod that wants to move this post to the S4 forum? lolz. but while its here feel free to reply A4 bros.

Yes or no? (please say yes lol)

For my first car I'm looking into B5 A4's/S4's. I can afford (actually my parents) pretty much any car I would want to have, however I'm looking into B5 Audis because of how great a car they seem and how much their owners love them. I feel like I couldn't have that same sort of connection with an '07 Jeep Grand Cherokee even tho thats what everyone my age has.

I like to consider myself an automotive "enthusiast", however I have to admit that at age 16 I have a lot more maturity and skill to gain, so right I'm more of a "fan" than an "enthusiast". The S4 I'm looking at is AWD (duh) and Automatic, so there shouldn't be any problems safety wise. Has about 100k miles on it, and from what I've heard that can be a real hassle for S4's, considering the strain that the twin-turbos put on the engine and how expensive parts are.

Your input is appreciated.

youd be better off in something else, you'll most likely have a few nice expensive repairs and it will turn your parents off to audis forever.

price ans keeping these cars going is a major pain. i got my b5 a4 at 16 and i love it i paid for half the money my parents helped me with the other. parts are expensive to repair i made around 2 grand this summer it all wnet into the car replacing little things here and there. so if u gotta a job id say go for it id also say a a4 is better to start cause i would love a s4 aswell but price range was to high for me and if i can barely keep up with this car i think id be broke and have no car if id gotten an s4. (im 17 now just fyi if you re wondering) so it all comes down to you.(and your parents of course) working o these cars is a pain and labor is a _______ lol if your gonna be taking it to a shop constantly luckly i have a good mechanic(dads friend) who does all the work for us (i help) and i just pay for the parts he helps us out for like 90% less of shop cost. so in the end if money is no issue go for it although things are constantly going wrong. same as you here at my high school all you see are jeeps for the most part.
good luck with what ever you get if you go witha b5 a4 make sure to stick around and get some picks up.
as you can see i also want an s4 in my sig it says some day lol

oh another thing i forgot get a manual it is the biggest pain to learn(if you dont know already) but it is awesome to drive especially if you choose the s4 route

edit: yea b5 audi thats sort of like my case, my uncle owns a couple of gas stations w/ repair shops so Im sure Id just have to pay mainly for the parts and stuff. who knows man, who knows...

lol yea i know how you feel id love to have an s4 but maintenance is just crazy on these cars and so many little things can go wrong. i might get a s4 once im in college a b5 of cousre cause they are so awesome haha dont know what it is about these cars but they just look so dang good.

thats true, and especially being born in austria which is pretty much a german country it makes me want to drive an audi so much more than any other car, and B5's i think are among the nicest of all.

B5's will never be ugly.

not trying to bash but if you can afford any car, why are you buying a used car? and i wouldn't buy an S4 for a first car.

^^^truth is spoken. Don't get an S4 first. Get an A4, learn the car and how to work on it (they're really not that bad), take driving classes, and then consider it. Learn how to really drive, not just how to steer down the road. A good driver in an A4 could stay with an inexperienced one in an S4 on a winding road. Learn to drive for real, develop your reflexes and car control skills first, THEN get a car that requires that skill set. It's worth it.
