I just picked up a 96 a4 2.8 with 176k for $1000. Timing belt was done about 120k, all it needs is a cv axle. Came with an awesome stereo and a spare set of rims with new winters, coilovers already installed also.

I picked up a 99 with like 130k miles for 1000. It needs the timing belt service and a valve replaced.
