if you do switch, would you be willing to part with the neuspeed's?

 

I'm sure I probably would, but keep in mind that I had them given to me by someone that had the springs given to them. LOL.

 

damn, what sucks is my car is a bit lower than the ones up there. coilovers is the way to go. A bit expensive but you can get your desired height with the turn of a ****. 4 ***** to be exact.

go with coils they may be a little more picey but its way woth it and they are way easy yo change up

 

i cant believe yours sits up so high with those neuspeeds, its not much lower than sport suspension!

i have H&R race on my GTI and i love em, perfect ride height!

You know, I never noticed until this thread that facelift B5's have different rub strips on the doors than pre-facelift B5's. I guess you learn something new every day!

i have neuspeed race / bilsteins and its WAAAYYYYYY lower than your car. I have a one small finger gap in the back and I cant even get a finger in my front (not even close)

Are you sure they put the springs on correctly lol. cuz neuspeed race springs drop it more than hr race... (i think)...

When i was stock it looked like my car was lifted. All in all it lowered my car AT LEAST 2.5"

 

I have to say it's a great bit of kit only bad point is that the weather kills the look of it so would go with a black core next time but other than that it's a great fit with only very minor trimming
