Thanks for the info on the web sight for the drop kit. I have another question I've seen some audi's with a big roof rack. I don't want them really big ones I sust want the cross bars do you guys recommend that or leave it the way it is.

 

i just want to put it out there that i will be selling my roof rack in a couple of months
its the thule 400xt model with a thule wind fairing. i also have the little wraps that you put around the cross bars, 4 snowboard ski attachments, a bike rack, and locks with keys for ski attachments and the feet.

I've been lookin around for OEM cross bars for avants since i bought mine and they're almost impossible to find. I shudder to think what they would cost from the dealer

If you decide to go aftermarket, Thule and Yakima make good stuff. Go with 48" bars.
