Default Smoke Through Vents?

Hi recently came across this problem with my 1998 Audi A4 2.8L. When I drive there is no smoke or anything. Then when I come to a stop light and am just sitting there, smoke will come up through my vents and fill my car. Then when I start driving again it will not smoke. Does anyone have any ideas why this could be?

does it smell like anything? I have had one of the front engine covers come loose and hit a fan and the smoke from it burning came through the vents when I stopped. if you open the hood can you see any smoke from anything?

Ironic you say that... today while driving after I got off the highway and came to a stop and the whole car smelt like coolant, but my levels are normal... Would you care to elaborate on what your talking about?

coolent smell means that your heater core is bad pretty much or is leaking

Heater core would be my vote if it smelled like burning coolant / celery, like Andrew149 said.
