yeah, so while trying to program a key FOB ive been looking for almost 3 years, my brother hops in my car for some reason and accidentally starts the car in gear and slams through our garage. my car, gouged, dented and scrated hood and fenders broken wiper(fixed ), scratched projecter headlights, and teh sadest, my S4 bumper is not broken and scratched and pretty much ****. my dads audi made it out alright before the garage door eventually came crashing down after we got the audis out. pics up soon. oh and the euro plate and holder are MIA and probably somewhere in the snow or under my sisters corolla which just happened to be infront of my car and was missed by a few inches.

Your brother is bullshitting because a starter motor can't plow a car through a garage. It actually takes a good bit of force to do that.

hmm...did he do that and then let out the clutch thinkin it was in neutral?? maybe??

If it was in gear and he had just let the clutch go, there would have been almost no movement, but would have probably immediately died. I smell a jealous little brother. My little sister threatened to slash all my tires because I bought my A4, and she was given a 99 Accord. I tricked her by telling her my car was older than hers. She was happy after that. Good thing she doesn't know how really badass the B5 gen Audi really is.

i really dont know what he did, i was leaning on my dads car and i saw him figiding in the car and knew he didnt know how to start the car (only my dad and i can drive stick), next thing i know i see it jerk forward kinda stop and go again, so maybe he started it with the clutch somewhat out and when it jumped freaked out and let it all out. the engine was off when it stopped so maybe he stalled it? IDK. the car went about 1/3 throught he garage so up the roof so at that point since the garage was already fubar, i called over my buddy and we lifted up the garage as much as possilbe and drove both the audis out, at which point the garge door just went splat and fell off the rails. so we just kinda rigged it back up.

sounds like your dad is pissed at him for ruining his garage and you're pissed at him for messing up your car. it's time to rig up a switch for the ignition switch so that you need to flip it in order for the key to turn the key. i hope your brother pays for the damage or your dad at least lol
