You know that sound you get when you turn your wheel to hard? mine does that all the time when I'm turning, and it's really difficult to turn the wheel unless I am applying gas... Any suggestions as to what this might mean?

 

Did u check ur PS fluid level or is it horribly dirty or anything.

 

Yeah sounds like you're low on power steering fluid. Green cap on the driver's side of the engine bay. Refill ONLY with OEM PS fluid.

 

Why only OEM?

 

because Audi PS pumps require mineral fluids or you will eat away the seals and FUBAR you PS pump. it's ~$20 a liter from the dealer I think. On the top of your cap it should tell you the code you need but I think it is G20000 or something like that. Also VW fluid will work too but it uses a different code.
