Anyone have/use this on their car to remove the clutch fan? Can you get just any size Std or Metric and will work because of the way it works...???

Harbour Freight has one that has 3 different sizes on it sm,md, and lg. Was thinking of getting it since I now see the notch for the spanner wrench....

I'm not haveing luck with the cresent wrench or channel locks...just can't get something the accept the bolt yet skinny enough to get between the fan and pulley

Any insight would be appreciated.

Autozone will let you rent one if you put a $20 deposit. I didn't need one as I got a piece of rubber (a cut piece of a serpentine belt works the best) and used it w/ the channel locks to grip the fan tightly. If you need to buy it I believe a medium will work.
