I have the same problem with my bose system. I suspect wiring too, because when it is cold some of the pixels in the display screen don't work. It's weird because as soon as it warms up they work perfectly.

Just swapped an extra working bose amp with my old bose amp, problem is still there... so I guess I'll be checking WTF is going on with the wires/plugs... GRRRRRRRRRRRRR [:@]

chances are that channel in the radio itself is going bad. had the same problem in a customer car, swaped the radio and no more snap crackel pop. check the ez stuff first
