Almost all of my Bose speaks are blown in my 2001 Audi A4. I looked at some of the threads like the Newbie thread but I want to make sure. Does anyone know the exact size of the speakers so I will be able to match it with aftermarket speakers. Also if you have any other hints or suggestions when installing aftermarket speakers, please post them.

 

I was thinking about getting Alpine or Kenwood, what brands are good.

Well what size are stock and what size aftermarket will fit.

 

You would have to make your own bracket for the tweeters as well.

 

I put infinity tweeters in the same brackets as stock. All depends on the speaker you get, it might fit.

What do you guys think. I'm not looking to buy very good speakers. I'm looking for a decent cheapt replacement to my blown speakers. If you guys know of any betteer speakers, can you post them.
