Speakers Size

Default Speakers Size

Anyone knows the sizes of the speakers (front and back) of a 2001 a4 1.8t non bose........im puting pics with my new rims and tints soon..

No one knows, they are completely unique to Audi. I can't remember what I put in mine now though...

I'm replacing them with alpines type r.....i heard that the front ones are 4'' and the back ones 6 1/2.......but i want to be 100% sure before i buy them

Make sure you have a drill and bits in case you have to make new holes because audi is known to use a 3 screw setup.

Also, if you're keeping the stock head unit, you will need a small amp for the rear speakers. The stock rear speakers have a small amp attached to the driver's side speaker. The wires from the head unit are line out, low power, and if you connect straight to the speakers, they will be extremely weak, and you will not hear much no matter how much you turn up the volume.
