i was going to put a k04 in my car and was told to get a GIAC chip but if this chip will perform well with a k04 then mark me down.

 

you can run a k04 on stock tuning but it is not recommended. if you are really set on a k04, get the proper tuning for it. actually, if you drop in a k04 and get the stage 1 tuning for it, its only about an extra 10 horsepower over a chipped k03. to see real gains you would have to go with the stage 2 tuning from giac. it depends on your year, but its either called pc-16 file, hammer file, and theres another one i think. but you need a few grand of supporting mods to go with the stage 2 tuning.

 

speedtuning also offer a K04 tune.
