it does increase the rev limiter by only a little bit though. it's not like our 2.8s need the increase lol. i haven't taken my car past 110 yet so i couldn't tell you guys about the governor.

sam you should tell ST know that you already have 10 people but you are waiting for possible a couple more and tell them to start the process. they'll will still let others get it for the same price for another week or 2. also if anybody else wanted it in the future tell them you've already bought one for a friend and they'll give you a discount lol. don't tell them that though

About the rev limiter for the 1.8T, shouldn't we not rev the engine any higher if we have the stock turbo? Because these tiny turbo's won't keep pressure and drop at high RPM's right?

Harlem- 12v can't be chipped.

marcus- that's correct. the rev limiter removal doesn't do much unless you like to hear your engine at a slightly higher rpm.

If we can start the group buy tomorrow and most of us send out our checks on Friday, SpeedTuning might received the payments in the middle of next week(we have one Canadian buyer). After that we can send out our ECU's, but we might encounter a sunday which you will have to wait one more day for your ECU to get back. I think the best ecu mail out time is early monday which you may get it back by the weekend

From ST:
"Canada back S/H is US$ 30.00"
"sure the local guy can schedule something at the shop"
"Everyone will have to send in a check or money order or cash and CAN THEN SCHEDULE THE TUNING WHENEVER THEY WANT. When ALL the 10 payments have cleared we start with scheduling."
