Sport package or Convenience package?

Sport package or Convenience package?
Hi there,
I recently purchased a donor car for my 2000 (B5) 2.8L 30V Q.
The donor car has the 7-spoke rims and 3-spoke steering wheel supposed to have come with the sport and convenience packages, but without driving it, I can't tell if the suspension is any different from mine. At least not by looking at it. Is there any specific identifiers that can tell me for certain if this car was purchased from the dealer with the sport package, or the convenience package, or if somebody swapped the steering wheel and rims for the sake of appearances? It also came with a larger shift ****, more akin to a standard sized shift **** than the skinnier one in my car. If it was a convenience package, I would naturally assume the shift **** to be identical to the base model. Where as with the sport package, the **** could be seen to add a sportier appearance to the interior. Based on this, I'm inclined to believe the car is a sport package and thus, has the suspension i want. But i would prefer not to put the work into it to find out there was no point.

LOL!
I must've thought I was responding to a different thread.
Look through the wheel well and look at your front shocks. If they're red, then you have the sport package.
good?

Haha. Its all good. That didnt really help because ive looked at the suspension before and i dont remember seeing any noticeable red. However, I ran the codes and discovered the donor did in fact come with sport suspension. So i am going to take another look to try and verify that. Are there any identifying marks on the components that would indicate their authenticity? Because it may have been switched before i got a hold of it. In which case the dealer option code sticker would be misleading. Which, by the way, indicates that the three digit code "1BE" is a way of finding if the car came with sport suspension.

I just wanted to pop in and say I was reading this thread while I was not logged in. Apparently, we have quite the sensorship on this website. The word "****" was starred out. I think that is laugh worthy.
