Default Spring Installation

I installed lowering springs on my car yesterday and just wanted to share that it was one of the easiest jobs I have ever done on my car lol. The only part that gave me any problem was the upper control arm bolt that holds them both too the hub it was pretty well seized into the hub but after getting the nut off and taking the air hammer to it to push it out we just went to NAPA and got some new bolts and even for free! I'm starting to love NAPA lol I always go in for small things like a bolt and I never have to pay for them! While I was in there I found out that my upper control arms were a lot worse the I thought ... one of them had a 1/4" of play and was about ready to kill me. I'll get some pix of the car in a couple days when its had time to settle in. I am curious how easy this is for you guys out there that only have a garage w/ a few jack stands to work w/ cuz I did this on a lift and it was just too easy lol.

Spring installations aren't supposed to be hard but just time consuming.

Pictures please!

I got Vogtland Sport springs. They were a mistake... the back is sitting a little lower but the front looks the same lol. I will get a couple pix now but I don't think they will give an accurate idea of height till they really settle in. I should have gone w/ H&R race springs. At least I saved myself from losing an upper control arm and crashing the car lol.

Sorry I had to show off the shops new floor too. I want to steal the Audi flag hanging... it would be so funny

if you get shocks you're guaranteed to go down to the height you want

How are shocks going to do it? They don't have any tension at all they just absorb force. I mean you can compress them w/ your pinky finger... and no mine were not bad my dad was surprised that they were so good for 136k miles.
