I'm very new to the whole software thing but wanted to look into the GIAC software soon. what does the 1x flash and fully loaded mean? is it 1x you get one of the fhh switching options and fully loaded you get them all? or am i far from it?

 

1x flash is strictly for a pump gas file, and fully loaded includes all available options. Those options would be things like a race gas file, a valet file (reduced power), a kill file (anti-theft), etc as well as a handheld switcher to toggle between programs.

 

looking at the site, $550 seems like a great price for my setup.

I have the full awe k04 kit with pc16 upgrade and it is very nice package that is complete and compliments the car nicely. Excellent mpg and power. Perfect for the person looking for more without going complete custom. I highly suggest this package to anyone considering it.

I'm guessing for the aeb 1.8t you don't offer more then what I have already? Specifically gt28 based upgraded software?

so i have a 2000 1.8tqm atw and im upgrading to an aeb head, k04 turbo, 3in downpipe, with the sai delete vacuum simplification that pulls cel's, intake and fmic. im new to vw tuning all the research i've done it looks like the j31 software correct me if im wrong but i know i want to go with giac but im not sure which one of your options above is the right one. any positive feedback would be great
