oh pssshhh i thought it was yours, yeah they are manufacturer specific, the obdII scanner reads something else but gives the right code number all i have to do is take the pcode and look it up in the audi specific codes to get what it really means, i just use the obdII scanner to clear it.

Which codes keep coming back? Have you done anything to fix it before using the scanner?

Do you know when your O2 sensors were last changed? If it's been more than 100,000 miles I can almost guarantee that replacing them will eliminate your codes. Mine threw codes too, which is why I'm replacing them this weekend.

You can find a lot of information about your car (year, engine, factory options, etc) by looking up what the different numbers and letters in your VIN mean. Check to see if the engine code is stamped on the flat surface of the cylinder block, by the right front cylinder bank. Once you have the engine code, Google it to find the specs.

Let me know if all this helps.

Update on replacing my O2 sensors: The pre-cat one won't get here until the 2nd or 3rd. I hate waiting! That's the last time I ever pay for expedited shipping.

Your codes sound very similar, but not identical, maybe because mine is a 1.8T I don't know. These are the codes I got: P1117, P1115, and P1103. They're all for oxygen sensor heating.

One of mine says "sensor heating circuit" the other two just say "sensor heating". I'm not much of an electrician, so hopefully someone else will chime in here.
